Choi_Yoon_Soo
from Korea was the winner of the inaugural Asian Senior
Masters tournament the ASM @ Singapore 2003
which was staged at the Jurong Country Club
in November 2003.
Stewart_Ginn
a leading legend and veteran on both the US Champions
Tour and European Seniors Tour won the inaugural
2005 ASM @ Malaysia
staged in Johor at the Palm Resort.
Stewart successfully defended
and retained his ASM @ Malaysia Champion's Title
at the 2006 ASM @ Malaysia however he was unfortunately
unable to contest the 2007 ASM @ Malaysia due to a scheduling conflict missing out
on a hat trick 3 in a row victory !
In April 2006 Stewart kindly
flew back all the way from the USA to contest the inaugural
2006_ASM_@_Phuket
which was a clean sweep for the Taiwan PGA who captured
the top 3 places at the event where Stewart
shot a total of 215 to come in joint 4th with Malaysia's leading
Senior Professional M
Ramayah
Since the AST's foundation
membership has continued to expand, and today over 390
Senior Professional Golfers from all over the world have competed
in ASM tournaments which feature a mix of some of the best
senior professional golfers from Asia, Australia, New Zealand,
Africa, Europe, Canada and the USA.
The AST has come a long way from its
humble beginnings and the 2006 AST schedule saw the
staging of the tour's inaugural tournament in Thailand, with
the 2006_ASM_@_Phuket
in April followed by the annual ASM @ Taiwan the ASM_@_Singapore
and ending with the ASM_@_Malaysia
The 2007 AST schedule saw Chen_Tsang_Te
from Taiwan return a final round 68, including a final-hole
birdie. Chen returned a AST record winning score of 10 under
par 206, to claim victory at the 2007_ASM_@_Malaysia
beating M Ramayah from Malaysia by a single
stroke, as both golfers birdied the last hole, .
Taiwan again emerged victorious when
Chung_Chun_Hsing
who won his first AST victory at the 2006 ASM @ Phuket
claimed his second AST victory after shooting a final round
72 to finish on an 8-under par total of 208 at the at the
AIA_Singapore_ASM_2007
The 2008 AST schedule saw the staging
of the 2nd edition of the ASM_@_Phuket
in April followed by the annual ASM @ Taiwan the ASM_@_Malaysia
and ending with the ASM @ Singpore 2008
The Oxley Capital Group's ASM @
Singapore 2009 will host past Singapore, Malaysia,
and Asian Open Champions including leading golfers
and past Malaysian Open Champions from the European
Seniors Tour such as Terry_Gale,
and Brian_Jones
along with other worthy contenders such as from around the
world including Stewart_Ginn
a regular on the EST's Leader Board and Order of
Merit and a veteran of the US Champions Tour.

Hsieh_Min_Nan, along with countrymen Chen Tse-Ming,
Hsu Chi-San, Chen Tsang Te, ASM @ Spore 07 Champion Chung
Chin Hsing and Kuo Chi-Hsiung, ASM @ Msia 09 Champion
M Ramayah (Malaysia) and countrymen Nazamuddin, Subramayah,
Ramachandran and Latiff joined by E Bagtas and E. Nival
(Philippines), ASM @ Msia 08 Champion Sutep Bumnipuk
and ASM @ Spore 06 Champion Amphon Maneerat (Thailand)
and ASM @ Spore 08 Defending Champion Ron Hendrie (Aust)
along with ASM @ Spore 03 Champion Choi Yoon Soo and
Choi_Sang-ho (Korea)
The ASM @ Singapore 2009 - Professional
Tournament will be preceded by 6 Pro-Am's each staged
as a 32 flight tournament, played in 4 ball flights, comprising
3 Amateur golfers and 1 AST Senior Professional,
conducted from 7.30am and 1pm Shotgun Starts
on Tues, Wed and Thurs where avid golfers will have the opportunity
to share their experience with golfing friends, and clients
accompanied by an Asian Senior PGA Tour professional.

SG$ 390 each subject to availability. Priority
will be awarded to our regular amateur entries, sponsor's
guests and amateur golfers accompanying, and supporting AST

entries costs SG$ 3,000 per team and include
1 On-Course 3m x 1m sign board, invitations to the ASM Welcome
Cocktail Reception, pre & post meals on your Pro-Am day,
ASM gift set and prize giving ceremony, etc.

Pro-Am Qualifier on Monday 30th November 09 where
the top 9 lowest gross scoring golfers from the Men's
Open division plus the 3 leading Lady, Junior
& Male Senior golfers will all qualify and secure places
to play in the ASM @ Singapore Pro-Am on Thursday
3rd December 09.

In order to cater to overseas based amateur
golfers, many who will be accompanying participating AST senior
professional, we have created various ASM
@ Singapore - Pro-Am and Social Golf Packages
ASM @ Singapore Pro-Ams
and the Amateur Pro-Am Qualifier event are
open to both male and female participants who must be at least
12 years of age and posses a valid golf handicap. All participants
are invited to attend the ASM Welcome Cocktail Reception
to be held on Monday 30th November 2009

09 Amateur Semi-Finals will be contested on the Friday
and Saturday in conjunction with the first
two days of the ASM @ Singapore 09 professional tournament
As has been the case at previous
Asian Senior Master tournaments up to 80 leading
amateur golfers, 40 each day will qualify to compete in the
Amateur Semi-Finals along side 3 AST's Senior Professional
golfers in 4 ball flights comprising 3 AST Pros & 1 amateur
on the first two days of the ASM @ Singapore 2009
professional tournament
On Sunday the 3
best gross scoring amateur golfers from each of the
Amateur Semi-Finals staged on Fri and Sat6
amateur finalists will compete in the Oxley
Capital Group's ASM @ Singapore 2009 Amateur Finals
T-ing Off at 7.30am on Sunday prior to the final day of
ASM @ Singapore 2009 professional tournament
All ties in the ASM @ Singapore
2009 professional tournament and of the the
Amateur Finals will be decided by a sudden death
play off
