Third Annual Make-A-Wish® Charity Golf Tournament.

The Make-A-Wish Foundation® is a 25-year-old international organisation, whose mission is to grant the heartfelt wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions. The Singapore affiliate was officially launched in April 2003 and since then has granted the wishes of 90 children, suffering from many severe illnesses including brain cancer, leukaemia and rare metabolic disorders.
To support our work for Singapore’s many wish-eligible children, we invite you to participate in our Third Annual Make-A-Wish Charity Golf Tournament, with Dr. Balaji Sadasivan, Senior Minister of State, Ministry of Information, Communications and the Arts & Health as our Distinguished Guest for the golf tournament.
In the evening, our Awards Dinner and Prize Presentation will be graced by Guests-of-Honour, President & Mrs. SR Nathan.
This event promises to be a fun-filled and enjoyable golf outing, incorporating the following:
• the option of playing in either an 18 hole Texas Scramble or an 18 hole Stableford tournament at one of Sentosa’s excellent courses, with many tournament prizes
• exciting novelty golf holes and prizes
• international dinner buffet, lucky draw prizes galore and enjoyable entertainment.
In addition to contributing to a worthwhile cause and participating in a fun day of golf, we are pleased to offer your organisation the following additional benefits:
• Double tax deduction for any donations exceeding costs.
• A variety of advertising opportunities – including on all tournament banners, in the Golf Souvenir program, Wishing Well newsletter-magazine and at the Awards Dinner.
• An opportunity for you to ‘Adopt-a-Wish’. In this, you and your colleagues can choose one of the children’s wishes which you would like to support directly. Your donation will be directed to granting this wish, and you will have the opportunity to be actively involved in supporting the child through their wish journey.
• For the first time, there will even be an opportunity for you to have your own wish granted in return for a donation to the Make-A-Wish Foundation! Do call us for more details. The lucky winners, who will get their wish granted, will be announced during the evening dinner.
There are a number of ways in which you and/or your organisations can participate. Please rest assured that more than 90% of your donation is used for wish-granting.
