SiTF Golf Classic was held successfully on 20 June 2005 at Raffles Country Club with a total of around 145 golfers.
The event was kicked off with a welcome lunch with our Guest of Honor Dr Lee Boon Yang, Minister for Information, Communications and The Arts.
After lunch, the golfers were all ready to do their shot gun start at Lake Course while golfers at Palm Course are teeing off flights after flights.
After golfing, the golfers were treated to a sumptuous 8 course dinner at Raffles Country Club Ballroom. This year, the Organizing Committee specially organized a Raffles draw for all golfers. The top prize is a Tempur Bed worth more than $5000, proudly sponsored by Tempur Singapore Pte Ltd. Other prizes include iSqueeze from Osim and whiskeys etc.
The exciting moment is when the Emcee announced the results. For Men category, Caleb Ying emerged as Champion this year with 48 points. Sim Teow Hong is this year’s 1st Runner up with a score of 46 points. 2nd Runner up goes to Vincent Lim who achieved a score of 45 points. For ladies category, Champion goes to Ong Lay Peng with a total score of 39 points. This year, Ermenegildo Zegna proudly sponsored the vouchers for Men category and scarf for Ladies category. All winners received their trophies and prizes from our Guest of Honor, Dr Lee Boon Yang.
