Since the Asian Senior Tour's foundation in 2003 the AST's membership has grown from strength to strength from the original 75 AST founder members who kindly supported the participated in the inaugural 2003 Asian Senior Masters @ Singapore which heralded the birth of the AST

In 2008 the AST's Senior Professional golfer membership now includes representatives from over 28 countries and our number of AST's members has pased 380 and is still growing.

The AST founder members remain automatically eligible to contest this year's ASM @ Singapore 2008

Some of the world renowned leading Senior Professional Golfers who have contested previous Asian Senior Masters tournaments and are anticipated to contest this year's ASM @ Singapore include - European Seniors Tour Stewart Ginn - currently ranked 4th on the 2007 EST order of merit and is a 2 time ASM @ Malaysia Champion Brian Jones

The ASM @ Singapore 2009 will comprise a maximum field of 140 senior professional golfers and incorporate a 2 day cut, with the top 75 including ties contesting the final day.
